Internship Description:

Within the IFTL, the intern will actively participate in the setup and management of the network infrastructure of our institute, under the supervision of our IT manager.

Main tasks will include:

Network Configuration: Assigning fixed IP addresses to computers on the network, according to a defined network topology.
Access Management: Participating in the implementation of an Active Directory server for centralized user and access rights management.
Computer Security: Installing and configuring a centralized antivirus server to manage deployments and updates of protections for all workstations.
Documentation and Support: Documenting different configuration steps, providing technical support to users, and ensuring incident follow-up.

Skills to Develop:

Practical knowledge in network management and configuration (fixed IP, DHCP, DNS).
Proficiency in access management tools such as Active Directory.
Deployment and management of antivirus security solutions on a network.
Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with other departments.

Profile sought:

Student in Bac+2 or higher, specializing in computer science, networks, or information systems.
Basic knowledge in TCP/IP, routing, and Windows systems.
Interest in network security and information systems management.

Duration of the Internship:

3 to 6 months, with possibilities of adaptation based on the availability of the intern.
